On Tuesday, I hosted the third and final session of my Facebook LIVE series on LOVE, this time focusing on Intimacy.
How comfortable do you feel in silence? With being alone? With being both silent and alone? Answers to these questions may give you some clues about your connection to intimacy. Why? Because the quality of your connection with others stems from the quality of your connection with yourself.
Watch the final video replay to revisit the four step process on clearing your blocks to intimacy. Watch until the end to learn more about your second (or sacral) chakra -- the center of your sensuality and intimacy.
Share your comments below on the video series, and what other personal growth topics you would like to learn about in future Facebook LIVE series.
Take me up on my offer for a FREE Start Within Activation call to explore what came up for you as you watched this series -- What would you like to have more of in your life?

Facebook LIVE: Clear Blocks to Love - Forgiveness
On Tuesday, I hosted the second of my 3-part Facebook LIVE series on LOVE this time, focusing on Forgiveness.
So often, when we think of forgiveness, we think about how to forgive another person. Yet, even in situations when we feel we have been wronged or mistreated, we can feel guilty for the "shoulds" -- I should have done ... or I shouldn't have said ...
Watch the replay until the end to learn the Ho'oponopono process for forgiveness. The word itself means to make right. With the lens focused inward, what do you need to make right with yourself?
Tune in next Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 1:43 pm ET for my last session on Intimacy and LOVE. On the Facebook Event Page, select "Going" so that you will get an update when I go LIVE!

Facebook LIVE: Clear Blocks to Love - Self Worth
On Tuesday, I hosted the first of my 3-part Facebook LIVE series on LOVE this time, focusing on Self-Worth.
I believe that self-worth is the foundation of all love. It helps you to maintain personal boundaries and to fully own your brilliance. When you start within to clear your love blocks, you will love more deeply (yourself and others). You will begin to see shifts in your personal and professional relationships.
Watch the replay to hear about four tips to clear any limiting beliefs about your personal value. Be sure to watch until the end for a powerful, inspirational song to boost your worthiness!
Then, tune in next Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 1:43 pm ET for my next session on Forgiveness. On the Facebook Event Page, select "Going" so that you will get an update when I go LIVE!

Does Your Facebook Business Page Have a Theme Song?
Ours does! Sorry if that sounds a little like a taunt from the school-playground, LOL! I'm just really excited about the new landing page on our InStep Consulting Facebook page. Here's a sneak peek:
When you click on the pink horn icon in the upper right hand corner, a funky tune will play as you navigate on our page. How did we do it? By using the FREE publishing platform provided by Wix.com!
Wix.com offers cutting-edge web technology that allows you to customize your Facebook or mobile website regardless of your technical skills or knowledge. It's an online tool that guides you through building your site without having to code. I was literally able to drag and drop different image and text elements to update our Facebook page by starting with one of their many free templates.
My tips for using the Wix platform would be to:
You'll also see info on my upcoming Communicate for Impact seminar for women entrepreneurs on Tuesday, March 27 -- which is being held in NYC at Wix Lounge!

- Plan ahead and decide what aspects of your business want to feature (will help with choosing template layout and tabs)
- Think about what message and image you want to convey to your audience (will help with choosing template themes)
- SAVE YOUR WORK as you go (yes, I did have to rebuild it from scratch once when Internet Explorer had a hiccup and stopped responding)
- Have FUN -- you can customize and update your site whenever you want

How Do You Keep Your Brand On the Grid?
What are you doing to keep your brand - personal or professional - on people's radar? Given that we're all being bombarded with messages from so many sources, how do you keep people in your network informed (but not overwhelmed) about your goals?
I'd invite you to listen, download and share my latest podcast called: How to Stay on the Grid: Networking 2.0. This is a discussion with Adrian Miller, President & Founder of Adrian Miller Sales Training.
In this podcast, we discuss the new rules of the game of networking 2.0 - which is about more than just using various social media tools, like Twitter or Facebook. Adrian and I talk about the difference between linear and circular networking, and explain which approach can be more effective in helping you to become a true connector. And, when you listen, you'll find out why being a connector is a crucial component to your personal and professional success.
So, take a listen and get some concrete tips on how to take your networking skills to the next level. You may also want to read an interesting article on Identifying Your Networking Strengths and Weaknesses by Ivan Miser.
After you have listened to the podcast and read the article, share your networking success stories - tweet me or post them in the comments.

NEW Photos on Facebook
I've uploaded some photos from the first round of Turning the Page leadership development training to my Facebook page. Why did it take so long?
As I mentioned before, 2008 is my year of new technology. Well, my new laptop was delivered this week (early!). And, I've spent time today beginning to organize my files and documents and emails, etc... what fun -- NOT!
But, I am glad to have a newer machine that will enable me to take full advantage of Web 2.0 and social networking -- including the ability to create video podcasts with my new integrated camera! Keep an eye out for those, coming soon!

InStep Consulting is on Facebook!
Hey there! I thought I'd let you all know that I've jumped head-first into the Web 2.0, social networking sphere and launched the InStep Consulting Facebook page. It will be another way for us to connect and share stories about our personal and professional accomplishments.
It's a new world for me. But, yesterday I did a walkthrough of the page with my newest associate, Natasha, who will be helping me get things set up. I've already become a "fan" of my partner groups -- Downtown Women's Club and the JI Group and will be looking out for my other partner organizations. We'll also be posting some photos from our seminars and programs.
As with any other interactive, social networking site, the InStep Consulting Facebook page will be what you make of it! So, stop by to start a conversation on the discussion board about a career development or work-life balance issue you're facing; or post your photo and become a "fan" if you're so inclined! There's also a "share this on Facebook" link on this blog; so, you can post articles you read here for more discussion amongst your friends and colleagues.
It may be a bit of a challenge to manage all of my online sites; but, I'm hoping that the feeds from this blog will soon appear on Facebook. So, I can write to you while I'm on the road on my NEW project with the Public Library Association (more to come ...) See you on Facebook!
